Perrot Duval began trading in 1896 and has been quoted since 1905.
Perrot Duval is the oldest company in the Swiss motor industry still in business today. It was transformed into a holding company in 1934 and withdrew from the motor industry in 1970.
In 1938, Perrot Duval founded Infranor S.A. - which became Infranor Inter S.A. in 1987 - and continues to control this company. At the same time as achieving worldwide success in lighting in general and lighting for supermarkets in particular, in 1960 Infranor entered the field of industrial automation. Infranor supplies Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) with systems and components. They then fit these components to the production machines or facilities they manufacture and sell to civilian or military industries. The company has 4 factories (servomotors, power amplifiers, numerical controls) and 12 sales and application units with their headquarters in the various industrialised countries.
In 1989, Perrot Duval set up Hopare Holding S.A. (Füll Process S.A. since 2008), a group of companies which it still controls 66%. These companies’ areas of business are process techniques used in the chemical industry in general, the food industry, paints and varnishes, printing inks and cosmetics. Although still in its early days, Füll Process has started to make a reputation for itself in the dosing of liquids and pastes.
